Biography

Jianzhuang Liu received the PhD degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1997, the ME degree from Beijing University of Posts & Telecommunications, China, and the BE degree from Nanjing University of Posts & Telecommunications, China. He spent two years in the School of Mechanical and Production Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, as a research fellow from August 1998 to August 2000. After that, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the Chinese University of Hong Kong for several years. Now he is an assistant professor in the Department of Information Engineering, the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He has published more than 100 papers in journals and conferences. He is a senior member of the IEEE and an area chair of ICCV 2009.
