Biography

Angela Yingjun Zhang received her BEng degree with Honors in Electronic Engineering  from Fudan University, Shanghai, China, and the PhD degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Hong Kong. Since Jan. 2005, she has been with the Department of Information Engineering in the Chinese University of Hong Kong, where she is currently an assistant professor.

Dr. Zhang is a Track Chair of ICCCN 2007 and Publicity Chair of IEEE MASS 2007. She has served as a Technical Program Committee member and/or Session Chair for IEEE ICCCAS 2005, IEEE ICC 2006, IWCMC 2006, IEEE WCNC 2007, IEEE CCNC 2007, IEEE ITW 2006, and MSN 2006.

Her research interests include wireless communications and mobile networks, adaptive resource allocation, cross layer design and optimization, wireless LAN/MAN, broadband OFDM and multicarrier techniques, MIMO signal processing. 

Dr. Zhang is the winner of the Hong Kong Young Scientist Award 2006, conferred by the Hong Kong Institution of Science.
