The BEng.IE programme is one of the most popular engineering programmes in Hong Kong, and has been admitting students with the best academic results. The programme is well-balanced with theory, practical knowledge, hardware, and software skills, and covers the hottest topics related to information technologies.
The mission of the IE Dept is to develop "Engineering Leaders in the Information World of tomorrow." To cope with this challenge, we are making several enhancements to our programme, most notably the "IE Streaming" and "Work Study Programme". All these measures will broaden the horizons of students, and prepare students for a successful career.
