Curriculum
The programme consists of foundation courses as well as courses in specialized fields. The foundation courses include those in Multimedia and Computer Networks, and the specialized fields include courses in business and management, networks and systems, and software and applications. Most courses are offered by the Department of Information Engineering, but students are free to select up to three* courses from other MSc programmes in the Faculty of Engineering. Medium of Instruction
English supplemented by Cantonese.
Each course consists of twelve 3-hour lecture. Normally one or two courses will be offered by the MScIE programme, while courses offered by other MSc programmes in the Faculty are available for students’ selections.
Lectures will be conducted during weekday evenings at the InnoCentre of Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks next to Kowloon Tong MTR station, or weekend afternoons on the CHUK campus in Shatin.
