I am very pleased to introduce to you our Master of Science in Information Engineering (MScIE) programme, a programme you would not want to miss.

The MScIE programme was established back in 1997, aiming to help IT professionals advance their careers. After years of continuous development, we are overjoyed that our programme now offers the most unique learning experiences to students.

We have business courses like IE and Technology Management, Innovation & Entrepreneurship, technology courses like Advanced Network Protocols and Systems, System Administration and Network Security, and application courses like Knowledge Management, eLearning Technologies, Pedagogies, and Practices. Want more options? You can also select courses from other engineering programmes!

We are setting up our MScIE Student and Alumni Association, and organizing exchange visits to Mainland and Overseas. You can join in any one of our Special Interest Groups (SIGs) – Systems and Networks, Software and Applications, and Business and Management. We will sponsor the SIGs activities and develop them to become your professional network.

Part-time study can be difficult. We have a full-time programme coordinator dedicated to support students, online and offline. Besides professors, we assign tutors to attend every class and help students in their studies. In 2007, we commit to a full implementation of e-Learning, and deliver at least 25% of courses online, saving students’ time to attend lectures.
