IE MPhil alumnus Xingqin Lin received the 2021 IEEE Communications Society Fred W. Ellersick Prize for the paper cited:

The IEEE Fred W. Ellersick Prize, established in 1994, is a prestigious annual award for the best article published in any IEEE Communications Society magazine in the previous three calendar years. Xingqin graduated with his MPhil degree in Information Engineering under the supervision of Prof. Tat-ming Lok in 2011. He is a PhD holder in Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin, USA.
