Ben Fei is a Research Assistant Professor with the Department of Information Engineering at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, where he previously served as a postdoctoral researcher. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science and his M.S. in Materials Science from Fudan University. His research interests include 3D Computer Vision, Generative Models, Multi-scale Modelling, AI for Science and Embodied AI for Science.

He is included in the Stanford/Elsevier Top 2% Scientists 2026. He is also an IEEE Young Professional. He serves as the Area Chair for ICLR2027, the Senior Program Chair for AAAI2027, the Tutorial Chair for CSIG2026, the International Program Committee of Pacific Graphics 2026, and Program Committee members for IJCAI, AAAI, and ECAI. He has published in journals including Science Advances, Nature Communications, IEEE TPAMI, IJCV, IEEE TVCG, Advanced Materials, and Advanced Energy Materials, and in AI conferences such as CVPR, ICCV, NeurIPS, ICLR, and AAAI.
