Ben Fei is a Research Assistant Professor with the Department of Information Engineering at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, where he previously served as a postdoctoral researcher. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science and his M.S. in Materials Science from Fudan University. His research interests include 3D Computer Vision, Generative Models, Multi-scale Modelling, AI for Science and Embodied AI for Science.

His is an IEEE Young Professional. He serves on the International Program Committee of Pacific Graphics 2026. He has also served as a program committee member for IJCAI, AAAI, and ECAI. He has published in journals including Science Advances, Nature Communications, IEEE TPAMI, IJCV, IEEE TVCG, Advanced Materials, and Advanced Energy Materials, and in AI conferences such as CVPR, ICCV, NeurIPS, ICLR, and AAAI.
