Congratulations to Solon Chak-man Li (Year 2 MPhil student) and his supervisor Prof. Wing-cheong Lau. Solon’s project titled “Authenticated Papers and their Applications” uses high-capacity 2D QR-codes to protect and authenticate paper-based documents and credentials. The scheme supports verification using off-the-shelf smartphones without the need of any network connection. Solon, keep up the good work!
