This course will demonstrate examples of network coding. Topics include:

  1. Acyclic networks: linear network codes and desirable properties, existence and construction, static network codes.
  2. Cyclic networks: convolutional network codes.
    Relations between network coding and classical algebraic coding theory will also be discussed.
