We are excited to announce that Dr. Zhiyuan Xie, a PhD graduate from the Department of Information Engineering in 2023, has been awarded the 2023 Faculty Outstanding Thesis Award from the Faculty of Engineering for his thesis titled “Extending Sensing Capabilities of ToF Cameras for High-precision Mobile Applications.” Dr. Xie was supervised by Prof. Guoliang Xing.
