We are delighted to announce that the paper titled “Channel Cycle Time: A New Measure of Short-term Fairness” has received the Best Paper Award at the IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference (IEEE WCNC 2024). The paper was co-authored by Pengfei Shen, Yulin Shao, Haoyuan Pan, Lu Lu, and Yonina C. Eldar.

Notably, three of the authors are PhD alumni of the Department of Information Engineering:

• Prof. Yulin Shao (PhD 2020, IE; currently Assistant Professor at the University of Hong Kong)
• Prof. Haoyuan Pan (PhD 2018, IE; currently Associate Professor at Shenzhen University)
