We are pleased to announce that Prof. Changhong Zhao has received the honorary title of “Early Career Award 2020/21” by the Research Grant Council (RGC) on 24 Nov 2020 for his project titled “Optimizing Multiphase Power Flow via Exact Convex Relaxation and Distributed Feedback Design”. The project aims to develop a fast and scalable method to solve the fundamental and challenging optimal power flow (OPF) problem for operating a power network integrated with a large number of distributed energy resources.
