We were excited to share that Prof. XING Guoliang’s team received the First Prize Award in Huawei ICT Competition 2022-23.

Huawei ICT Competition covers a wide range of directions like AI, cloud computing, storage, and big data. The competition includes a theoretical understanding of the above concepts and practical lab implementations. The team had to self-study on Huawei online learning platform and then participated in a 5-day online training course instructed by Huawei experts.

The team “Cloud Players” comprises three students from the CUHK – Haoyu Zhang (Year 1, MSc student in IE), Wenyu Zhang (Year 4, PhD student in Statistics), and Chun-to Chu (Year 5, Undergraduate student in CSE).
