We are thrilled to announce that Prof. Guoliang Xing’s team has been awarded the Best Paper Award at MobiSys 2023 for their paper titled “Mozart: A Mobile ToF System for Sensing in the Dark through Phase Manipulation”. The PhD students, Zhiyuan Xie and Xiaomin Ouyang, co-first-authored the paper and their hard work and dedication are evident in this achievement. Xiaomin was also awarded the Best Presentation Award at the Rising Star Forum.

MobiSys is one of ACM’s flagship conferences on wireless, mobile, and IoT systems, alongside MobiCom and SenSys. Last year, two papers co-authored by students co-supervised by Prof. Zhenyu and me received the Best Paper Runner-up Award at MobiCom and the Best Paper Finalist recognition at SenSys. These conferences have highly competitive acceptance rates, typically ranging between 10% to 20%. We are proud of the exceptional accomplishments of the team. Congratulations!
